Replacing Hella 500 bulbs?

I am not very impressed with the light output of my new Hellas. Compared to the daylighters I have you can barely see them. They are onlu 55w can I just get a bulb with 100-130w? Is that possible? Thanks

I wouldn't run any 100w or 130w bulbs in the Hellas unless you are willing to upgrade your harness. Otherwise, you really are going to be running the risk of melting it.

Your best option would be a 55W Narva Rangepower +50. More light, but still 55W. Only problem is the lifespan of the bulb will be significantly lower.
Narva® RangePower+50® Ultra High Output 55w H3 Bulb

There are also some selective yellow bulbs on the candlepower.com store if that is what you are looking for.
H3 bulbs

Cheers

I'm running 100w bulbs in my Hella 500s. Have not had any trouble with it.
