PVC roof rack

I knew something was off when I looked at the roof rack on this Frontier. The center bars were sagging. I swapped lanes and got a closer look to see that it was made from PVC that has been painted. The front attachment point wasn't really touching the roof either you could see all of the silicone that was being used to try and glue it all down.

I'm not gonna say it looks great... but for just being painted PVC... I would expected it to look A LOT worse. But, I would never do that. You can get the real roof rack for like $400... it's on my long list of de-prioritized upgrades.

While it didn't look that bad, it has no function. You can't put any weight on it at all. If you put a snow board on it the wind resistance would rip it off of the roof.
