Ah that's a great idea. My street bike would fit diagonally but its not worth the effort. The extender is nice for me to put other gear in the bed like the loading ramps. I'll have to consider drilling out these nubs like you suggested.

I guess loading hauling bikes would suck with the stock extender set-up. Personally though after giving up roughly 12" of bed space (last truck had a 6ft bed) I find the extender invaluable. Plus a 1/4 or 1/2 keg fits perfect between the bed extender (all the way at the rear, flipped in towards cab) and the tailgate. mmmmmmmm beeeeeeeeer!

How many extra kegs you can fit your Frontier with a bed extender would be a much better add. Plus the bed extender would work!

I have a 07 700 raptor that i put in the back of 08 K/C Nismo,All i have to do is put one side of the extender in the slot. Then i leave the other side a bit loose and with a little bit of force it slides right into place..Mind you the raptor is very tall and fits in there almost so perfect that i dont even need the extender or even tie downs i can even close the tailgate..

I aslo thought about doing the hole and pin setup for mine it would be very quick to do and very quick to install..
