He said he si never makeing another one 'cause it has to many bends..then he went out of busness.. teh center section is from the stock bumper, it's ben reinforced, and also bolds in to the tow hook holes.

Tell me does your Fronty have air bags? I noticed that you have strengthened the bar with extra bolts, as this now make the bar fixed rather then movable (if you know what I mean) how would this now effect the operation of the air bag sensor?

yeah SLR said he never wanted to make a new another one to many bends.. but we don;t have crush sencers for the air bags, there are G sencers in the Dash.. and yeah I deployed my air bags.. if you have side impact the computer will think your rolling on some off camber stuff.

it's tied in to the tow hook holes, last weekend I had to use a snatch block and double back to atach to the bumper when wenching myself out of the snow I maxxed out my 10k lbs wench so I put 20K worth of force on it so it will hold.

The air bag sensor is in the center console under the cup holders. The bumper would not effect the fucntion of the airbag. In fact a stiff bumper would soke up less engergy and have the sensor see more g's. A body lift affects the sensor more than the bumper from what I am told.
