nice job. matches your front bumper. can i ask if you removed the plastic bumper pieces or did you tape over them? i am thinking of painting the plastic pieces and can't figure out how to take them off (or what tool to use). thanks....

i was able to take off the longer plastic panel, but i had to mask off the license plate light covers and the smaller panel by the license plate w/ some painters tape. the longer plastic piece has little clip-like tabs that hold it to the bumper, i used plyers to compress the tabs and then pulled the piece off the bumper. if your going to paint the plastic pieces, you might as well paint the whole bumper haha. i think that all frontiers should come w/ black rear bumpers, to match the black panel on the tail gate.

Looks good. I've always like the look of black versus chrome. Thinking of powder coating my front and rear chrome bumpers as well.

thanks for the info. i saw the clip-like tabs, but didn't know what tool or technique to use...
