I put my left hook on today. It looks the opposite of yours since my right hook is dirty and the left one is clean.

I did mine about about a week and a half ago. Here is a pic:

I assume mine is just like yours. The passenger side is dirty and the new driver's side is nice and clean.

I am sorry to say that I didn't get it from Justin because the shipping to Florida was the killer. Thou I was able to get a great deal from a local dealer.

P.S. How much did you Torque the bolts to?

I did a couple grunts tight with an 18" breaker bar and 17MM 6 point socket.

Well, I did about 100 ft-lbs with my torque wrench. The bolts are a dot 9 with a flange so I think it is spec'ed to 101 ft-lbs. Can anyone confirm this?

Mine did look like old and new yesterday. After a wash job and some 303 Protectant, it looks much better.

^^^^ Nice, very nice. The Frontier does look a lot nicer when it is clean then compared to when it is dirty like mine.

Good Job.

Thanks. It was dirty for a couple of weeks while I was visiting up north. I ordered the tow hook from my dealer and picked it up on Monday when I got back.

I ordered the drivers side hook from The Nismo Shop :: West Covina Nissan 09/09/2008 and was informed they were on backorder and would ship whithin 30 days. Then was informed 3 - 4 weeks from 09/29/2008. Not word since.

I would like to know the status of the order. On their online catalog no word of any type of back order status. I am hoping Justin is reading this and can update the status of these hooks.

I have not had good experience so far for a first time buyer. I choose The Nismo Shop because of reputation on this forum. If Justin could let everyone know when the tow hooks will be available it would be great. I understand they can't control Nissan's stock but no real reason for not keeping customer informed.

Thanks

They are also on backorder in FL so you are not the only one.
