The other night I installed mine in the garage and when aimed on the wall they were about a foot off the ground. I was around 4 foot back.

Need help with HID Fog lights for 2009 Frontier XE King Cab with Painted Front Bumper. I purchased some spyder lights but when I pop off the factory caps, the plastic mounting bracket does not line up with the mounting pieces on the inside of the bumper?

Any links for DIY install for this truck would be really helpful.... Thanks in advance.

Here's the part number for the Automatic Headlight Sensor:
253 Electrical Unit :: Body Electrical :: Genuine Nissan Parts :: Frontier Parts (D40) 2005-2012 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

There's also a small plastic cap on the dash where the sensor sits. Does anyone know if the wire is in there?

Even though this thread is now several years old, it's still great because of the pictures provided by the OP. It made me decide to install them on my truck. After looking all over the internet at prices I found a Nissan dealer who sells parts on eBay (several do). The dealer is Grubbs Nissan in Bedford Tx. Their eBay ID is "screaminlizard". The price is 218.00 (chrome bumper) with free shipping and no tax. That's the best overall price I've come across. My local dealer (Winston-Salem NC) wanted 275.00 plus tax. That's almost 300.00 plus my gas (I live about 30 min. away) to go there.

Such a great post, thanks to the OP. and thanks for the heads up on the ebay listing yesterdaysradios. I think I'm going to order this... Would love to have the factory fog lights and I'm going to install some driving lights in the bumper as well.
