Nissan Bed Rails

This came with my truck and I have no idea how to use it or what it's for? Tying ropes to? I'm confused.

well with that much info its gonna be kinda hard to tell what it is. are you referring to the utilitrac system, the cleats, or are there actual tie downs in your bed?

Assuming you're talking about the utilitrack system...
this is what you do with them:

Ahh, okay... Probably no something I'd use often. Wish I had the bed-extender instead. Yeah, this was the only 09 LE in my area and I just went with it. heh

Actually, I take that back... I may use this a lot for my bicycles and my hunting gear such as my climbing tree stands. Sweet! haha

cool

Don't worry, you're not the only one who got confused.
What do you use the bed rails for?

bike mounts:

They hold 1/4 kegs in place quite nicely too.

You'll use em.. I use them to keep my cooler from bouncing around when I go to the beach. I run bunjies to each rail and im good to go.

Right now I have the following secured because of the utilitrack:

My nissan toolbox (rides along utilitrack)
1 3' Scanner Antenna
2 4' CB Antennas

When i moved a server rack to a client, i used the cleats to strap down the rack from moving.

They are nice, because its basically a moveable tiedown point.
