Looking for actual "replacement" grill
does anyone know of an actual replacement grill? I am not looking for a bolt over, I actually want to cut out the grill and install a new one. I had been looking at the carriageworks black grill, but I have since decided that with the mods i want to do, the chrome wil match better. So is there anything that is a true replacement? Is the carriageworks really that great or would an ebay grill work just the same?
additionally, I will soon have a spare grill, so cutting is no problem and I dont want the Nissan logo up front.

I thought that was you who was bidding on the factory grille on eBay, I was thinking about trying to get one of those myself to see if I could get it blacked out.

thats was me. i actually have something in mind for that. i will send you a pic once i get back to work. i did a photoshop edit to a pic to show what I want to do and personally think it looks good.
I actually have the grill and both head lights on the way ( all for about 152 dollars shipped). once that stuff is in and done, you will know me if you see me in knoxvile or maryville. did you ever go by twin city for the 2* mod?

No I have laid off of mods right now with christmas and all and I have been searching for a new job constantly so I haven't done anything to the truck...I do get my PIAA's tomorrow as a gift from my dad....Cant wait to see those pics.

i need to lay off the mods myself. i am hoping i have enough projects now to keep me busy until spring til i can start some outside jobs around the house.

if you don't end up ruining the chrome "v" part of the stock grill, i'd be glad to take it off your hands...
