LE guys need help
Or anyone that has painted mirrors and bumper. Can you guys take some pics of the mirrors so i can have an idea if the inside of the mirror is painted. Also so pics of the painted from bumper but if i am correct i think the LE have only a piece of the front bumper painted. But anyways pics would be great.
Here are some pics as to how I would like to see the mirror. Thanks in advance Miguel

Here's the best shot I have now. You can see the bumper and at least the back of the mirror.

mirror is painted all the way around i believe. the only thing that isnt is the mount. i will check when i get home to be sure.

sorry no close up pics, but zluke13 shows that only the mirror's housing is painted. and i am pretty sure (not 100%) that the inside of the housing is painted too. if you go to this link, you can see pics of my front bumper completely painted:
Blued Out Frontier w/ Hood Scoop some guy driving around here painted his xe bumper and mirrors and it looks nice because of the one color. i'm trying to get rid of all the gray pieces on my truck so next will be the roof rack. good luck on whatever painting mod you do...

Thanks guys now I am going to have to get the inside of the mirrors painted too. Bumper I am going to paint it all since the chrome se swap did not go through. I will have pics when I get the truck painted.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the LE's and XE's have the same bumper and part number? Are there any different? |He said that there is a textured one an a untextured one. I went to a body shop to see if they can paint it but the guy made it seem that the paint will come off in a month or so is this true? I am trying to paint my XE bumper to match but I dont want it to start peeling.

There has been some dicussions on here in the past about the texture / untextured bumpers, IIRC, they (Nissan) went to one type now for both the LE and the XE. Find a differnet body shop to paint it. A good body shop can prep and paint anything......
