interesting pricing question for mud flaps

so i go to woodmen nissan parts dealer looking for mud flaps. i know, i know it's a nightmare to navigate this site when you first start. but it's actually not too bad once you figure it out. anyways, when you first go into the website from it's "home" location it takes you into the "collision" catalog (i only found this out later). and in there you can search/browse for all kinds of parts. so i find the mud flaps (front and rear). i'm no math genius but that's less than 40 bucks for a set of FOUR!! a set of TWO everywhere else i looked is around 50. in fact, this websites "accessories" catalog sells it here for $52!!! am i missing something?? cuz this just seems too good to be true.

Sounds about right. I bought a set of four for a Titan a few years ago from my dealer supplier for under $30.00

Same as which? I didn't look at your link, just saying that dealer pricing is about on pace with what you quoted for four. I did not price just a pair so I can't answer that, but as far as what I got they were OEM with mounting hardware, cleaning swabs and a micro fiber cloth from a Nissan dealer which I think was back in 2005.

c'mon man!!!! i spent all that time putting those in there and you can't even click on 'em?? besides, i wouldn't expect the price to be the same as '05.
so back to the original question....why the big price difference??
are these the same mud flaps?
are only authorized people allowed to order from the "collision" catalog (ie: auto body shops, dealers, etc...)??

thanks

Sorry man, but as I said earlier I bought Titan mud flaps and not Frontier mud flaps so I wouldn't know if your link was the same as what you are looking for for sure. FYI, the set I got was from the Parts counter like anyone else and most of the time the Collision Center gets their parts form the same Parts counter.

Like you say though they were about the same price for a set of four for either Frontiers or Titans back then. I would think that as with most things retail, when you buy a "set" you get a price break like "value size" or "economy size". Know what I mean?

BTW, if you're going to repost it helps to re-state the question. Just pull the trigger and buy them already or simply call. That is if you really want them. Hell, they are cheap enough to get new ones instead of used. Although, there are those people...

"so i go to woodmen nissan parts dealer looking for mud flaps. i know, i know it's a nightmare to navigate this site when you first start. but it's actually not too bad once you figure it out. anyways, when you first go into the website from it's "home" location it takes you into the "collision" catalog (i only found this out later). and in there you can search/browse for all kinds of parts. so i find the mud flaps (front and rear). i'm no math genius but that's less than 40 bucks for a set of FOUR!! a set of TWO everywhere else i looked is around 50. in fact, this websites "accessories" catalog sells it here for $52!!! am i missing something?? cuz this just seems too good to be true."

Hmm
You don't say how many you want or need, the site in question is a "nightmare to navigate" (very enticing I might add), you seem excited about the pricing for the set of four versus "everywhere else" for two... Why have you not contacted them and asked/ordered?

If you ever find out, post back your findings for future reference.
