Or leave his pants on and do it, your choice. Leaving them on would net you +3 bonus points.
What I did was went to Wally world and bought the lights that come in two different sets. They are rectangular with one being "fog" (yellow glass), the other being "driving"(clear). To me 55w is about as bright as a candle so I "REWIRED" the lights and replaced the junk relay with a heavy duty 40A relay from NAPA and a 12 gauge inline fuse holder with 20A fuse and used nothing more than 12 gauge wiring, finishing with the trigger wire being tailored to the high beam wire so they turn on with the high beams. Sounds complicated but you could get it done pretty quickly. Do you want a picture of the lights on or what it looks like normally? I have no problems with HID being in a high beam since it will not irritate traffic, I just think they are waaay to bright for low beam applications. It would be like me driving around with my 100 watt lights on all the time...blinding. It would be very simple to convert these lights (I'll get the specific brand) to HID, you would just need to drill a 3/4 hole directly in the center backing to fit the wiring. I'm not sure how the beam pattern would be but as with all HID's it would be overly bright. Then as mentioned before with the relay you would tailor it to the high beams so they only turn on with the brights and you don't bother other motorists.
Will post pictures shortly.....Will Show the Fronty with 100watt 500FF's and the Civic with 100watt Cheapo's.
This is awesome thank you for making me understand .

quick question. i have stock lights and a friend of mine says he can get HIDs and put them in my fog housing. I keep hearing about conversion kits and what not. what are those and what should i put in my headlights that will give me more light but not blind people. The only reason id put HIDs in the fog housing is because i can turn them on and off and the beam is low and onto the floor where it belongs. Totally new to this. any help will great.
What kind of HID do you have in the projectors? H4's? I have ebay projector headlight housings too and recently installed some H1 HID's and I wasn't impressed with the improvement ove projector/halogens. The HID's only slightly lit up the road more compared to the projectors with halogen bulbs. I need to find a proper way to improve visibility of I will be going back to the factory housings.

ehhh, I'd stay clear of HID's in your fog lights...unless you retrofit projectors into them. you will get a TON of glare from them because the HID bulb emits light from a different point than a halogen bulb. even though the fog light is lower, it still shines above my retrofitted hid projector headlights. If I pull up to a wall, my regular fog lights shine above the cutoff line.
I have been running hid's in two of my SI's and two frontiers in stock housings for the last 6 years and have yet to have an issue, they will be fine in the fogs. I say if you want them get them.

The projectors for the eBay lights are typically built for halogen and that's why they are cheaper, projectors are a little different for hid lighting
