hitch winch is a good idea on paper and hey you might never run into this problem but if you have it off and waiting for when you do get stuck and you cant find your rear reciever or anything to mount it your **** outs luck. had it on my dodge and ended up welding it on. i say if you can get it on a fixed place is your safest bet

did you ever hit anything that really skrewed up your winch. because if it turns out to be that big of an issue that i could prob wield up some sort of skid plate
