Under the hood, I ran a wire from the battery through a fuse holder and a wire from the negative both to the relay harness. Also connected the wire that came from the switch, so the only thing left is the output to the fogs.
After looking through the service manual, I found the outputs to the relays on the IPDM are pins 50/51. See pictures for this next part to make sense. So I pulled that connector from the IPDM. Using my dentist-like tools (don't know what else to call them), I was able to pop the white connector loose and pull it down (not out) of the brown connector. Then using the same tool, I pulled up a little tab which allowed me to pull the wires out of the harness. This should make some sense when looking at the last pic hopefully. The two connector pictures show the wires already removed from the harness. This is where I had to leave off last night, but I did hook it up temporarily and everything works great. What I have left to do is mount the relay and connect the output to these two wires (need to snake a wire around to the back side of the box the IPDM up through the back of it). I don't want to solder because I want to be able to put this back to stock if I ever want to. I really like doing it this way because it allows me to turn the fogs on whenever I want and they will still go off with the ignition, so there is no worry about leaving them on. Any comments/questions/feedback welcome, I should have final install and pics up tonite. EDIT: The foglight wires on mine are purple (passenger side) and white (driver side)

Ok, I did finally get it done over the weekend. Here are the final two pics. First, showing the box that houses the IPDM with the split loom coming in from the relay (ran two wires from the relay, one for each bulb). Since I wanted to make it very easy to go back to stock, I wrapped the wire around the connector and taped it very well. Also a shot of just the fogs on. Overall, I am really happy with the outcome.

Where did you get the lamps? Do they fit in the original holes and how do you get the dummy plugs out?
Thanks Ldpics |

They are OEM foglights from Courtesy Nissan (they came with bulbs in them). To get the plugs out, you have to push in some tabs from the back side. Much easier if you get under the truck and look at the back of the bumper.
