Defiant Truck Products Light Bar

The bars are ready for production. Please read this post for more information and how to order. A limited number are available for now.

The purpose of this thread is to put all of the details of the development of this bar and all of the questions that go along with it in one spot that is easy to find. Please read this whole post before asking questions, because it might be answered here.

I have been working with Defiant Truck Products on developing a light bar for our trucks. LAOneTime has also donated his truck and time to make sure it fits on the Pro-4X.

He is very close to having a finished product for production. The current version of the mounting bracket is off a little. He has ordered the (hopefully) final test brackets and they should be in the next week or two. Production units will most likely be available in November. when they are available you will be able to order by emailing him. I will post those details when I get them.

The light bars fits the chrome bumper and plastic bumper. This should cover ALL 2nd gen Frontiers.

You can order them in short tube or long tube. I highly recommend the short tube for multiple reasons.

Price will be around $250.

You can order any number of light tabs between 0-4.

You can order it with black powder coat or bare metal.

It mounts to the tow hook bolt holes and is compatible with the tow hook.

Here is a picture of the first bar

Pictures of the mounting brackets

It was designed to hold the largest light on the market, the Hella Rallye 400.

This is the Anzo or "Kragen" 7" Internal Ballast HID

These are Hella 700FF

I will update this post with answers to any questions and updates.

His website will be down for a while. You will be able to order by emailing his personal email. I will post it when the production models are ready.

The bar pictured is the long tube, correct?

Comparing to the pictures LAOneTime posted, his appears to be 6-8" shorter..

This is the short tube. I'm sure the tube in Mike's pictures was from another truck and just put there to get an idea of how it looks. The long tube would extend almost to the end of the bumper.

Sub'd! I like that it mounts to the tow hook bolt holes. I'm sure it'll be plenty sturdy mounted there.

I don't have my lights hooked up yet. But the bar is sturdy. He said it shouldn't bounce the light around based on the amount of vibration in the bar when you hit it. He used thick materials and designs everything to have the least amount vibration or bouncing.

the short bar is perfect for me, i cant wait to order this bar. so is the price additional for more tabs? can or will he be willing to do a custom tab spacing for say rigid led light bar or similar of course providing the customer proivides the correct spacing for the mounts? i have already bought both a rigid light bar and some hid kc lights for this bar in anticipation to see which way i want to go with it
