Doesn't matter if you are agreeing or whatever. I don't know the interest level of the defiant bar as when I found out the price I stopped following. So getting my own idea is required. I don't know a price and quantity will probably have an effect on that. If you have no interest then don't worry about what I'm asking or doing, plain and simple. You are easy to misinterpret so apologies if I did.

Back on track, bar will have the option to ship bare metal, primed and painted, or powder coated. Anybody with the chrome bumper who would like to be a test dummy would be great too!

If it is appropriately priced, I am interested.

I'd be down if the price was right.
Bare metal is a good option as I prefer good olé rattle can because it can be touched up easily.
In an ideal situation I'd like a bare bar to mount 3-4 lights for under $175, like $150.
But that's me.

Is this a bumper light bar or roof? If bumper is it recessed into the bumper mouth?

It is for bumper and it will be like defiants bar supporting the larger lights people want to run. He is making it as tucked and low profile as he can though

not to derail the thread again but it seems to me you saw zoomzoom's name and instantly assumed he was going to bash you. there was no misinterpretation here as its clear that myself and at least one other knew what he was saying very easily from his first post. and i wasnt even aware of what a defiant would cost.

dont be so quick to judge people before you know what theyre saying. zoom has been pretty good about being helpful and less than douchey as of late.

that being said.... i dont know what a "defiant" light bar would look like. are there any comparison photos you could show? or any design sketches for what this fabbed one is suppose to look like?

Defiant Truck Products Light Bar

And again, the designer is out this week on a hunting trip. Beginning of December will mark start of design and fabbing. And he is quick to his old ways to insult as usual. Letting it go now or we gonna keep running with it?

wow. they want 250$ for the defiant style light bar like that? id rather shell out a little more and get the full aesthetic appearance of a bull bar. similar to these.

You lose ground clearance with a bull bar.
