Another light bar

So with Defiant throwing their hat into the ring but not really liking the price tag or possible wait. I am going to be leaving my truck in the hands of a local custom fab shop and see what they come up with for me. It is hunting season so his engineer is usually taking a good bit of time off but here in the next two weeks we are going to make a time work. He expressed interest in making these in bulk but since I'm seeing there is a difference in the way one is made for the plastic bumper and the chrome bumper this would be for plastic only unless we got another test truck. He wants to have an idea of interest level I can bring to him so let me know!!

It should be, I told him I want to brought through the bumper opening instead of underneath as to not lose ground clearance. This company handles a lot of local business and clear down to Virginia. He liked the idea of using the tow hook mounting point, the frame, as well as two other solid pieces of metal behind the bumper

edit: I had the idea of the bar coming across but being under the top part of the bumper, in case of an off road accident or a light bump on the pavement. The bar would be pushed back underneath the bumper instead of directly into it, and only the lights would hit the bumper then. May sound kind of confusing sorry!

interested

Life is all about ***, you're either covering it,hauling it,laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.

judging from the defiant thread, it's obvious the interest is there. People are just not stupid enough to pay $250+ for a couple pieces of steel and a tube.

Good for you Zoom. If you read, I never stated a price as I have no idea yet but the guy who will be designing it isn't in this week. But thanks for making my thread CF official

You complain of price on the light bars, which I have no price. Your post serves no purpose like both in this thread and the other 99.9% on this website. Try working on your grammar too, another of your famous complaints.

Bro im pretty sure he's agreeing with you. Defiants, like others, is expensive and most people won't shell out the cash for what it is. A lower priced similar option would be well received.
