American Racing Mojave Teflon w/ Wheel Adapter?

Hey guys,

I'm tired of trying to settle on other rims I don't really like, or getting them painted/powdercoated to look like the Mojaves.

I just decided that I'd get wheel adapters so that I can fit a bolt pattern that American Racing does make:

Part No. Size Offset Backside Bolt Circle Note
3981-7883 17x8 0 4 1/2 6-5 1/2 2WD & 4WD

Would this be the wheel adapter I'd need to put these Mojaves on my Fronty?

Wheel Adapters 6 Lug CJ Dakota

Thanks

Man I wanted those rims so... bad... too, but I settled for the Procomp 7089's.
Not sure about the adapters.

Yeah, those adapters would work. Just make sure the centerbore is big enough.

You're talking about the center bore of the wheel adapter to go onto the Frontier hub, right? Does anyone know the measurements of what it needs to be?

A rim with 0 offset and a 1" spacer is too much. The tire will hit the fender.

Are you talking about hitting the fender just with the tire straight, or when I try to turn?

Eventually, I want to get the Fabtech. If I get a 3" bodylift, would that solve the problem? Or is the 0 offset with 1" adapter a combo that just won't work?

I remember this thread from a while back:

FINALLY got my new tires/wheels...

Heather had 16x8s with only a 2" front/1.5" rear PRG lift at the time of the thread.

I know that the wheel adapter would add another 1" to the width, but do you guys think I'll be fine if I ran the same size tire?

I think I should just sit on my money until I have enough for the Fabtech.
