access tonneau cover ????
just wondering if some one out there could tell me about this. got access installed by local truck shop . if you installed one with factory bedliner did you have to put foam tape on front of bed, just was looking has about quarter inch gap in front or does element seal make up for this the way it overhangs in front. thanks for any feedback

I can tell you that the similar Truxport left this same gap due to the OEM side rail caps lifting the side rails higher than the top of the bed in front. Had to go to Home Depot and get a roll of the black rubber weather seal and stick on top of the front edge of the bed. This left gaps at the front edges. I filled that in with some cut down weatherseal (not the most elegant solution). Another CF member had the same problem and wrote to Truxedo and they shipped him additional front seal and more of the custom cut front edge seals for free. Access would probably do the same.

you need to go to home depo and pick up silicon caulking and the tape for the top lip near the cab. otherwise you will have a wet bed like I had for a while. I fixed it up and it still looks good. I wouldnt trade my cover now though. Access makes a nice quality product but the rail covers make it tough to seal the gap. You can barely tell the extra seal is there.

i have the access cover. well, actually its the lorado, which is the low profile access.....but same concept... and yes, i have a gap. it never gets wet unless i go through a car wash. but if you want it completely sealed, get some weather stripping from a hardware store. doesnt need to be anything fancy. it will be inside where nobody can see it....

I have the access cover and the shop where I bought it installed it with a foam strip across the front. I did have to move a few of the mounts but the foam strip works great.
