2005 Frontier LE Crew Cab - Won't Shift into Reverse
2005 Frontier Crew Cab LE Automatic Transmission (66,000 miles).
Went to back up today and it wouldn't go into Reverse. Everything else is fine, no odd sounds, shifts smoothly while in drive. I have not been off road, nor any rough driving situations. I do drive on hunting trails during the fall, but didn't get buried, stuck, or anything else last season. It behaves as if there are two Neutral gears. Checked the transmission fluid. It was clean and at correct level.
Any ideas for any easy things I could check prior to taking to shop?
