I still don't see a hi-lift being stable enought to change a tire. I've seen pics and vids of them being used off road for recovery and moving a rig side to side but I would be cautious.

I'm kinda in the same situation, but I don't have sliders so a hi-lift would be useless to me. they don't make an attachment that would work with pinch welds? I know they have the bumper and wheel attachment, it only makes sense to offer something that attaches to the body of a stock truck with no sliders.
