I recently purchased a 1998 2.4 4wd and the locking hubs are stuck in the free position. I'm guessing they haven't been serviced/used in awhile. When I say stuck, I mean I can't even move the switch to engage them. Any suggestions? Will liquid wrench or something similar free them up? Also, can I free up the switch by taking the wheel off and pulling the hub assembly apart? Never done that, but I'm willing to give it a go. Thanks for the help.
