Do not quote me on these numbers becasue I know they are not exact but if you go to the nissanusa.com website and look under specifications, you can get a more accurate number. Or if you are able to get a Factory Service Manual, you can look it up there.
You can get a new m226 from the dealer but they are going to kill you on the price. You can get a used one from a junkyard but just be careful that it is a 06+ and not an 05, there was speculation that there were only 2 spider gears used in the 05 and they then changed the design to a 4 spider gear setup or something like that.
Honestly at this point, you might want to hold off on this project until you can do enough research to be fully informed. I know you just got your truck and you want to do everything to it but you need to do research. Research is the key and when you just post something without proving you did the research, you are going to get flammed. Just do yourself a favor and use the search function and read as many threads that you can and try to understand what others have done. Then call around and search for the parts. Then make a post on what you have discovered and what your plans are in detail, ie. parts, time, etc. This will probably get you a lot more positive information and you will have a lot better undersanding on what is actually needed to perform this mod.
Good luck on the research and let us know what you find out.

some m226's have 3.36's, mine has 3.69's (and those are the lowest available for it from the factory)
