the Final drive ratio on a titan IS 3.35/6. That is the final drive. 3.35 turns of the drive shaft per turn of the wheels.

However, the titan also has a 4.x:1 first gear in the auto tranny. Whereas the 1st gear on a E40D/4R100 on a Bronco/F150/F250/F350 SuperDuty E150 E250 E350 etc...is 2.72:1. See the difference? The titan makes up for the lack of rear end gearing.



The smaller the gear ratio (so lower numerically) the smaller your ring gear, which is why titans blow so many rear diffs. If it had 4.55's it would start snapping other things instead of grenading the gears
