IMS Gaskets WTF? FUBAR

So today I was looking into my high oil pressure problem. The problem started shortly after installing the IMS so I figured that would be a good place to start. I took off the IMS to check the gaskets... not good. they are all breaking apart. I know some of the gasket material got into the motor because it was all over the place. I took my time making sure all of the gaskets were in place and well seated prior to the install. My thumbs were sore for a week. There was a bit of oil in the area too. Maybe I had blow by that weakened the gaskets? or the gaskets caused the blow by, I don't know. But needless to say the IMS is off my truck right now and I'm kinda pissed. I think maybe some of you with an IMS might want to check your gaskets and see how they are doing. It could be that the gaskets aren't handling the heat from the spacer very well.
