Whatever works for you is best, but I'm not sure that's healthy for the transmission letting stationary gears cog up and compress together as the truck rolls a small bit to rest. In fact, my wife's Subaru owner's manual strictly warns against doing this on the 5-Speed stick because it puts stress on the transmission. But, if it works for you, that's cool. Peace.
