I actually already did this when I had my headliner recovered...

The best thing to do is:

1: Take out both front seats completly, and the center console
2: there will be a lot of trim you need to remove to get the liner to drop freely (I believe the front piller is called the C pillar (both sides need to be removed), you also need to remove both front and rear seat belts that are bolted in and take out trim that is behind them.
3:You will need to take out all the "Oh Crap" handles
4:take off visors completly w/ mounts
5:Take out all lights that are mounted on the roof including the storage box
6:theres clips in the rear that need to be removed (the acces the 3rd brake light)

I believe everything is unscrewed now for the headliner to drop.

1) Once it drops there is a wire that goes from your driver C pillar and it routes to all your lights that you removed. The wire is actually glued onto the roof but you can unclip it from the C pillar
2:Once thats unclipped, you can start to pull the headliner down
3)You will need to angle the liner and have it fit out either the driver or passenger dooe (I took mine in and out the passenger side)

**I know it sounds like a lot and it is but its not that hard. It is time consuming. Dont go to fast getting it out because you could flex the cardboard that the liner is made out of and it can get a crease(sp?) in it.
