I D A H O Wheelin' + Treasure Searchin'

BOISE, IDAHO LOCALS
This concerns the 4-7 of us
ME, w4fighter, alaska, guys in south east idaho, thehop, and maybe paulie?

After watching Cash and Treasures on TV....i was thinkin' maybe we should plan a wheelin' trip up north near idaho city...wake up and all 4-7 of us can meet at 8 am and get to idaho city at 8:30 or so and get a map at a local store and find a place to pan for some gold? Don't worry, we will have fun...lots of great dirt roads that goes through the mountains...+ im sure the map will give us some trails...Todays episode was based on star garnets but thats in moscow which is too far north from us...so a common treasure around us would be silver and gold flowing through the streams and layin around in the dirt...i doubt we will find much but the experience would probably be fun...oh and if you dont feel like panning for gold...your welcome to fish as long as you have a permit....beer and bbq if you want...im just going to eat in town.

I'm hoping this trip would happen during spring break...maybe the weekend...from sunrise to sunset...but for this to happen i need atleast 3-4 of us...

Boise County - Close to 3,000,000 troy ounces of gold have been removed from the gravels of the Bose Basin and according to treasure hunters there is plenty more to be found. Hotspots would include the many watercourses through the area and gravel arroyos northeast of Boise, near Idaho City.

SATURDAY MARCH 22nd 2008
8:30 Am - 5:00 Pm
Albertson's Parking Lot on the corner of South Federal Way and East Gowen Road
We'll fill our tanks and try to get to Idaho City by 9:00 Am
Might do some runs on the backroads of idaho city heading towards New Centerville and Placerville. Beautiful scenery and rugged trails. We might also have to cross a couple of streams...could be deep since it's "spring" break. I hope the water is warm enough to pan. Bring some dry clothes. I'll buy a local map in Idaho City to find some interesting yet challenging trails for us to ride on.

Let me know if you are going to join us. So far it's just ME and W4RFIGHT3R
