I had the same problem in my 07 frontier, passenger seat rattled and squeaked periodicaly. I took it in several times and after I managed to replicate the problem to the service guys they ordered a new seat frame. It was replaced but the squeaking came back after a few weeks. I decided to fix it my self. After taking a closer look at the seat I noticed that all the plastic covers were loose and the screws were not tightened, however that was not the problem that caused the seat to squeak. The back rest of the seat moves lateraly while driving and over time starts to emit the annoying sound of metal on metal squeaking. I simply took it apart and placed some rubber between the two parts and then tightened everything back together. It has been a couple of months since the fix, so far so good.
