If you need something that requires aggressive scratch/swirl remover, you need a 3-4 step process by machine. At this point, I suggest seeking a professional detailer. You'll be kicking yourself if you try it with no experience. You'll really be kicking yourself if you use RUBBING COMPOUND on a black finish

I compound black vehicles all the time , in fact I specialize in detailing Black vehicles. Definately have a true professional, buff your vehicle, most "detailer's" however , don't know how to buff black, without swirling or striping the paint. 3M "perfect it II" works well followed by "3M speed glaze" for dark colored paints, followed by "3M Perfect it" show car polish
