Mine had the 4.0L V6 in it. I get better mileage with the Fronty. I enjoy the quieter ride and extra room. I think the Fronty is actually a little quicker as well. While both had 4.0 engines the Ford version only put out 207 HP, but it only had to hurl 3700 ~ pounds. So, while it gave up 50+ hp it did not have to pull as much weight. Still the Nissan seems quicker getting on the freeway. The Nissan is much quieter on the road. Very little wind noise. I look to change a few things fairly quickly. I want to purchase a cold air intake and maybe alter the exhaust (cat back only). Not sure what all that will do for performance, but it will sound meaner.
