I'm a service writer at a mazda dealer. Law is right... most of the techs don't care. My factory reps. can be pretty rediculous also. I hate to break it to ya but if the factory dcsm was there and saw your truck and denied coverage, chances are pretty slim the dealer will be able to cover your repair under warranty. Even if you call customer relations they won't be able to override any factory dcsm decision. If nissan is anything like mazda, the most you'll get are some vouchers to put toward the repair.
