Also i spoke to a body man on the last step (cut n polish) he recommended not to use cutting compound on the frontier light because of all the angals plus spray paint is more delicante then regular automotive paint so there's very high risk of burning paint.
Also i let my can of spray paint sit in a cup of warm water for a few minutes before i use (something i did back when i use to build model cars i find the paint comes out a bit smoother less globby when warm) i also recommend a heat gun not only to makes the job much faster but by cutting dry time to just about 4 min theres less time for dust, bugs ect to get on wet paint! just be careful not to burn the paint,
As for the turn signal i dont know about the law hear but it is a oem 3156ak replacment I got from kragen plus not all cars have amber turn signals ? i will just have to tack my chances .
The light is quit smooth but ther is some minor orange peal so i took it to my friend who has a bodyshop to see if he could polish it out he said the orange peal is not bad and not really noticeable so he recommended not to try to polish or wet sand. over all im very impressed with results.

Rear turn signals are red or amber, not clear. They make clear bulbs that light up in colors such as red or amber but the bulb looks clear until you use it.
I looked in the owner's manual and it calls for a 3156AK bulb for the rear turn signal. The A stands for amber and the K is Krypton filled. They sold you a regular bulb that most likely goes behind an amber lens.
